Orangina supports dance4life

Of the 7,400 people infected with HIV each day, almost half are under the age of 25. As the single largest group infected and affected by the virus, a huge part of the potential solution lies with them. Young people are our future and dance4life, through its programmes, involves them, strengthens their voice and empowers them to take action to push back the spread of HIV and AIDS.

Dance4life empowers young people

These young people can take action themselves to push back HIV and AIDS. Currently dance4life is present in 26 countries and already hundreds of thousands of young people have taken part in a dance4life schools programme. dance4life aims to have actively involved over 1 million young people in 34 countries by 2014, using the universal language of music and dance as well as youth icons to connect with young people across the globe. The growing admiration for the brand is apparent by the support of international ambassadors and advisory board members.

Orangina's role in this fight

The international softdrink brand with French origin, recognizes the responsibility to the 500 million people who enjoy Orangina and their communities in over 50 countries. HIV is a pandemic affecting all countries, and dance4life is empowering youth to create change in many of these communities to halt the spread of HIV and AIDS. They do this with a positive message, with a joie de vivre similar to Orangina’s – and with dance. Orangina is closely related to dance, which symbolises the unique shaking gesture of the product to mix the fruit pieces inside. Orangina's international campaign is centralised around dance, the language we all speak, and dance4life uses it to connect with and to unite youth from all over the world. Orangina will, amongst other things, develop a joined promotion with dance4life, support the partnership on their labels and will play an active role in the celebration in November.
